Day 1: Arusha (1400m) – Miriakamba Hut (2500m)

After breakfast in Arusha, we drive to Momella Gate for registration before beginning our ascent. The hike feels like a walking safari, with chances to spot giraffes, zebras, and buffalo along the trail. We pass the Ngarenanyuki River and a waterfall before reaching Miriakamba Hut, where we enjoy dinner and sunset views.

Day 2: Miriakamba Hut (2500m) – Saddle Hut (3500m)

We begin ascending the steep ridge towards Saddle Hut, with possible wildlife sightings along the way. Enjoy views of Mt. Meru Crater and the Ash Tray. Upon reaching camp, you have the option to hike Little Mt. Meru for acclimatization before an early dinner and rest for the summit.

Day 3: Saddle Hut (3500m) – Summit (4566m) – Miriakamba Hut (2500m)

We begin the summit attempt at 1:30 am, climbing from Rhino Point to Cobra Point and finally to the summit at sunrise. After enjoying stunning views of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the Meru Crater, we descend to Saddle Hut for a short rest, then continue down to Miriakamba Hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Miriakamba Hut (2500m) – Arusha (1400m)
